Boris Michaliček

Landscape photographer Boris Michaliček, who likes treks with sleeping in a tent, without replenishing supplies or water. Among Slovak outdoor photographers, he is one of the most watched. His treks are not only about challenging conditions (day vs. night, wind) and minimizing weight (ultralight equipment), but about traveling with a camera and all the equipment in a backpack on the back. Despite the time that good photography requires, he manages to capture beautiful scenery not only in Slovakia, but also in picturesque foreign countries.

Despite the time that good photography requires, he manages to capture beautiful scenery not only in Slovakia, but also in picturesque foreign countries. With his friend(camera), he traveled to areas in Scandinavia, Italian mountains, Wadi Rum in Jordan, Iceland, Austria, Norway, Diamir Valley with the Diamir Glacier in Pakistan, Munnar, Kerala in Jordan and slept in the Wadi Ruma desert.

After days of heavy rain, he planned to spend the night in a bivouac in the mountains, but he had to spend the night in a camp, and despite everything, he managed to capture beautiful moments in the Slovenian Alps. On his profile @borievkyphotogallery you can find all his adventurous trips that he has already completed. In his case, it is never worth waiting all night for beautiful moments, as in the valley above the village of Lauterbrunnen in Switzerland, where Boris managed to capture a great atmosphere. Among individual outdoor photo shoots, Boris also organizes educational workshops, where you can get deeper into the secrets of photography and spend a relaxing photo weekend in beautiful places in Slovakia and abroad with good organization and a pleasant group.
