According to his own words, he was looking for something beautiful and meaningful in life, which he found in this sport. He pursues his passion alongside his work as a physical education teacher at an elementary school in Ružomberok.

The 6-time champion of Slovakia in the long triathlon is not a professional athlete, so he covers most of his expenses himself. To me, the swimming part of triathlon "smells" the most, but even so, I think that the hardest thing of all is overcoming the limit of your mind, which sooner or later every triathlete gets to," he says.
